Softest Alpaca is a luxurious blend of alpaca, merino, selectively sourced with care from the Andean Highlands.This yarn is as light as a feather with a fluffy brushed texture.  You will love knitting with this and wearing it as well. Label says 18 stitches per 4". but we swatched it on several different needle sizes, and it performs beautifully at a variety of gauge
